Glaubenbielen Pass sits at an elevation of 1,611 m (5,285 ft.) and is placed in the Emmental Alps amongst the Entlebuch region of the canton of Lucerne and the canton of Obwalden, Switzerland. This mountain pass is the connecting point for Giswil in Obwalden and Sörenberg in the Entlebuch region and is also known as Panoramastrasse due to the exquisite view it offers of Mount Pilates and Mount Stanserhorn (traveling towards Giswil), and of Mount Brienzer Rothorn (traveling towards Flühli). Those traveling this road are met with a smoothly paved surface at 12% incline towards the summit (very fast decline) and a spectacular backdrop of the Emmentales landscape and the Bernese Alps. This route via Sörenberg is stress-free ride for those driving, but some traffic may be experienced if taking the Mariental route. This mountain pass is accessible from approximately May to October.
