The Pordoi Pass (Passo Pordoi; Pordoijoch) can found in the Dolomites in the Alps, positioned in the middle of the Sella group in the north and the Marmolada group in the south. This great mountain pass rests at an altitude of 2,239 m (7,346 ft.) above sea level and is the second highest surfaced road crossing a pass in the Dolomites. Pordoi features a winding terrain of 28 sharp bends and offers an exquisite 360 degree view of the entire Alpine range from the top of the summit. This pass is a favorite among those who love participating in the outdoor recreational activities and tends to get very busy in the summer months - so it’s recommended that those looking to travel this pass do so in the month June or September. Otherwise - those driving will need to commute before 10am to avoid the heavy traffic. This pass is accessible throughout the whole year.
