The Falzarego Pass (Passo di Falzarego) that sits at an altitude of 2, 105 meters above sea level (6,906 ft.) and can be found in the district of Belluno in Italy. This high mountain pass is main connection point for Andráz and Cortina d'Ampezzo - which is located in the center of the southern Dolomitic Alps). This pass is ideal for motorists and bikers, as it takes those driving on a smooth ride of infinite bends, sharp turns and serpentines that drift uphill through a scenic evergreen forest. Travel through in October to see the evergreen trees in full spectrum and simply in the beauty of the landscape. The Dolomite war memorial may also be a point of interest for those wanting to pause in Cortina d’Ampezzo and take in some history. Travelers have the option of taking routes through Cortina, Caprile, or Cortina d’Ampezzo to reach the summit and this pass is available to travel all year round.
