Felbertauern Pass is a 2,460 m above sea level mountain pass located in the Hohe Tauern region of the Central Alps in Austria. This high mountain pass is placed between Venice and Granatspitzgruppe and links the federal state of Salzburg with Osttirol. Drivers will be met with a toll fee when passing through of the Felbertauern tunnel, but will only need to be paid when going through the south portal. The passage through leads to three lanes that expands up to 1,632 meters in altitude and down to long curving roads with a magnificent snowcapped mountain backdrop and rich green landscape. Drivers and motorcyclists can also treat themselves to a sunny and visually stimulating ride through the Virgen Valley (located between Grossglockner and the Grossvenediger Mountain). The mountain pass is accessible all year around.
