Positioned at a 1, 793 m (5,883 ft.) elevation and home to the renowned ski resorts Lech, Stuben and Zürs - the Arlberg Pass is much sought after route for those wanting to participate in the thrill of outdoor recreational activities or just enjoy a smooth, easy ride. The Arlberg is located in the Alps of Austria between mountainous states of Vorarlberg and Tyrol and takes commuters through one of the lengthiest tunnels in Austria (measuring at a whopping length of 13,976 meters). This pass is one of the least challenging and gives drivers a spacious road for a scenic traffic-free cruise, but be mindful of the speed limit - as laser sensors are implemented into the villages and are strictly enforced. Drivers and motorcyclists should also be aware that there is a toll fee when passing through the tunnel, but once you reach the old road over the pass - it’s toll-free.
